Reconciliation also known as Confession and Penance, is an experience of the gift of God’s boundless mercy through confession of our sins. Confession frees us from our sins, but it also challenges us to have the same kind of compassion and forgiveness for those who sin against us.
The Sacrament of Penance & Reconciliation is celebrated each Saturday from 3:30-4:30pm. You can also call the Parish Office (352) 795-4479 to request an opportunity to celebrate the Sacrament outside the scheduled times.
Preparation for children to receive First Reconciliation is conducted in faith formation classes at the parish. The Sacrament is received before First Communion. See more under Communion or to register for Faith Formation classes see Faith Formation Registration
